An elite tennis player, Mariana soared to a career high ranking of 26 in the world in ITF juniors and an impressive 500 in WTA rankings for both singles and doubles. Her prowess on the court translated into memorable victories against formidable opponents, including the legendary Ana Ivanovic, a former world #1 WTA player, and numerous other top-ranked WTA competitors.

Throughout her tenure, Mariana competed in over 300 professional events across the globe, showcasing her prowess and resilience on an international stage. In a moment of great honor and pride, Mariana was selected to represent Ecuador in the prestigious Fed Cup (Davis Cup) in 2010. Her contributions played a pivotal role in propelling the team to the finals in the competitive ‘Americas’ group.

Her tennis odyssey led her to compete in international stages, including London’s Junior Wimbledon, Paris’ Junior French Open, the World Championships in Australia, and a triumphant stint in Miami where she
won the Orange Bowl Championship in doubles. 

Born in Miami, yet grew up and competed in Ecuador in her junior career, Mariana’s rise to prominence was marked by her national championship titles in various age categories, including ages 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18, coupled with a notable standing ranked #2 in South America. 

After a hiatus, Mariana returned to the tennis scene with unparalleled determination. On the USA Masters Tour, she secured an Impressive five National Championships within the past two years, earning the distinguished title of #1 in the USA for both singles and mixed doubles. On the ITF Masters Tour, Mariana’s journey continued with a resounding victory at the 2022 World Championships in Mixed Doubles within the 30+ age group.

In 2023, Mariana achieved the pinnacle of her career, reaching the coveted #1 ranking in the world for singles on the ITF Masters Tour in the 30+ age category.
